So many of our Campers get excited at the mere mention of C-A-M-P, pulling their pet parents right up to our door. That enthusiasm makes sense. Regular Day Camp attendance gives your dog more than a fun day out. It can support their physical activity, socialization, and behavior in ways that staying home simply can’t match.

How Our Enrichment Model Works

Dogs need physical, mental, and emotional stimulation to thrive, and our enrichment-based daycare is built around exactly that. Certified Camp Counselors^® monitor group play continuously, redirecting behaviors to keep interactions safe and positive. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and energy level so play feels natural and comfortable. Scheduled rest breaks prevent overstimulation and keep the day balanced.

The Camper Interview

Before any new dog joins the open-play environment at Camp Bow Wow Fort Collins, they complete a Camper Interview. This first visit lets our Certified Camp Counselors^® assess your dog’s temperament, play style, and comfort level in a group setting. Dogs are introduced to the right play group at a pace that helps create a confident, positive first experience. This protects both new arrivals and existing Campers. Dogs must be at least four months old to attend Day Camp.

The interview isn’t a hurdle. It’s how we make sure Camp is the right fit from day one.
