Safety & Care Standards at Camp Bow Wow West Bellaire

Every dog who joins our play groups has already cleared a meaningful bar. Before any Camper sets paw in a play yard, they complete the Camper Interview, a temperament and play-style screening that also confirms vaccination status. All Campers must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age and current on DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. Learn more about our Bordetella policy. Those requirements aren’t formalities. They support a healthy and safe play group.

What Certified Camp Counselors^® Do Each Day

Once a dog is cleared to attend, our Certified Camp Counselors^® take over. They conduct a Snout-to-Tail Assessment at check-in each visit to catch any health concerns before play begins. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and energy level so play stays compatible and well matched, and scheduled rest breaks are built into the routine to help prevent overstimulation and keep the energy in the yard balanced.
