Bathing them on your own is often time-consuming, exhausting, messy, and stressful for both you and your four-legged family member. Rather than trying to do the job yourself after a long, tiring day, why not let us take care of it during your dog’s stay?
With dog grooming areas specially designed for your pup’s comfort, Camp Bow Wow can take this off your to-do list. By adding a bath to your pup’s stay, you can cuddle with a squeaky-clean pup when you get home.

Pick-up times will vary depending on arrival times and sizes and coats of dogs on schedule that day. Groomer will call you 1/2 hour before your dog is to be picked up.
Please fill out a grooming instruction form. Please click the link, download it, print it, fill it out and bring it with you.
Please let us know in advance if you must reschedule a Full Grooming appointment. A $30 deposit will be needed to hold any grooming appointments in our calendar. If an appointment is not cancelled by noon on the preceding day, a $30 deposit will be needed for the next reservation. The deposit will be applied to the service if the service is done and not rescheduled a second time. If the service is not done on the rescheduled date/time, the deposit will be forfeited.
Grooming Requirements
Owners of dogs coming in for grooming are responsible for providing proof of current vaccinations:
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella vaccinations. If the Bordetella vaccination has never been given or has expired a waiting period is needed so dogs can build immunity before coming to Camp. The waiting periods are:
one-week period after receiving the injectable or oral vaccination
48-hours is required after receiving the intranasal vaccination
We strongly recommend Campers get Bordetella boosters every 6 months no matter what type of administration their vet uses. This gives Campers added immunity and has been shown to reduce symptom severity if exposed. Staff dogs that come to Camp are required to follow this 6 month booster policy.

An exit bath is a bath scheduled at the end of your dog’s boarding or daycare stay so they go home clean and fresh after all their Camp adventures. We time it close to pick-up so your pup is dry, brushed, and ready for snuggles when you arrive. Just ask to add an exit bath when you book your Camper’s stay.
Most dogs benefit from a nail trim every 3–6 weeks, but it depends on how fast their nails grow and how much they naturally wear them down. If you can hear your pup’s nails clicking on the floor, it’s usually time for a trim. Our groomers can recommend a schedule that keeps your Camper’s paws healthy and comfortable.
Both nail grinding and clipping can be safe and effective when done properly. Clipping quickly shortens the nail, while grinding can smooth and round the edges, which some pups and pet parents prefer. Our team can talk through the options and help you choose what’s best for your dog’s comfort and nail health.
A typical dog bath service includes a gentle shampoo, a thorough rinse, towel and/or blow dry, and a brush-out suited to your pup’s coat. Some Camps may also offer add-ons like nail trims, ear cleaning, or de-shedding treatments. We’ll always let you know exactly what’s included so your pup gets the most out of their bath time.
Many pet parents love adding a bath at the end of a boarding stay or a big day of play so their pup comes home clean, soft, and cuddle-ready. After all that fun in the play yards, a fresh bath can be a nice finishing touch. Let us know at booking if you’d like to schedule a bath so we can plan your Camper’s “spa time” before pick-up.
