What Your Dog’s Day at Camp Looks Like

Every new Camper begins with a Camper Interview, our intake process designed to assess temperament, play style, and comfort level in a group setting before joining the open-play environment. After the interview, you’ll receive a brief report on how your pup adjusted. It’s the foundation of a day that actually fits your dog.

From there, Certified Camp Counselors® group Campers by size, temperament, and energy level throughout the day. Dogs play in large, climate-controlled indoor and outdoor play yards, with regular rest breaks scheduled to prevent overstimulation and keep energy balanced. We also offer Dog Enrichment programs alongside day care for pups who could use extra stimulation. Puppies may be welcome through our Pawsitive Start Jr. program; contact us to confirm availability at our Pensacola location.

Open-play socialization under continuous supervision lets dogs build confidence and engage in natural behaviors. Many Campers who attend day care regularly can show reduced separation anxiety and less destructive behavior at home over time.

Safety & Screening

Every Camper receives a snout-to-tail assessment at check-in so we can spot potential health concerns early. Our Certified Camp Counselors® are trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and first aid. A balanced staff-to-dog ratio keeps supervision attentive and consistent throughout the day, including monitoring for early signs of illness.

Vaccination Requirements

Before enrollment, all Campers must meet our vaccination requirements. Florida and Escambia County regulations require rabies and DHPP/Parvo for dog day care, and we also require Bordetella to protect every dog in a shared play environment.

All Campers must also be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age.
