How Our Dog Day Care Works Each Day
When you arrive at Camp in the morning, our team will greet you and your pup, review any special notes for the day, and guide your dog into the appropriate play yard based on size and temperament. New Campers go through our Camper Interview process on a separate visit, so by the time they join group play, we already understand how they like to interact with other dogs. Throughout the day, our Camp Counselors keep a close eye on the playrooms, encouraging good manners and making sure each dog gets a balance of activity and rest.
We build our daily schedule to mirror a natural rhythm for dogs, with energetic play times, calmer periods, and regular access to fresh water and cozy rest areas. If your dog needs a mid-day meal, we follow your feeding instructions and use your provided food to help keep their routine consistent. Many families from neighborhoods across Kansas City tell us that their dogs quickly learn the drop-off routine and start getting excited as soon as they see they are headed to Camp.
