Dogs don’t thrive in isolation, and a long workday alone at home can lead to restlessness, boredom, and anxious behavior. CampLife addresses that with a full day of open-play in both indoor and outdoor climate-controlled yards. That matters especially during Houston’s summers. Our Certified Camp Counselors® group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level so every pup plays with others who are a good match.

Certified Camp Counselors® supervise every session, gently redirecting behaviors like excessive barking, mounting, or rough play before they escalate. Scheduled rest breaks are built into the day to keep energy balanced and help prevent overstimulation. We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether you have a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, there’s a group that fits.

Safety Standards at Camp Bow Wow Humble

Every new dog starts with a Camper Interview before joining the general play group. Our Certified Camp Counselors® assess temperament and play style, then ease your dog into the right group at a comfortable pace. Afterward, you’ll get a brief report on how your dog adjusted, along with counselor notes. It’s how we help set a strong foundation for your dog’s first day.

Vaccination Requirements for Daycare

All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines before attending:

• Bordetella (kennel cough)
• DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza)
• Rabies

All dogs must also be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age to participate. Our Certified Camp Counselors® are trained in pet CPR and first aid, and every dog receives a snout-to-tail health assessment at check-in to help spot potential concerns early. Play yards, water bowls, and toys are cleaned and sanitized daily with pet-safe products.

You don’t have to wonder how your dog is doing. Live Camper Cams℠ let you watch the action from any computer or mobile device during business hours. The Camp App, available for iOS and Android, puts webcam access, reservation requests, and your pup’s Camper profile all in one place. Our staff also send photo updates throughout the day: a running highlight reel of your dog’s adventures.

Our pricing is all-inclusive with no hidden fees, so you know exactly what you’re paying before drop-off. We don’t charge extra for medication administration. Dogs who board overnight get daycare included at no additional cost, and every Individual Cabin comes with a nightly treat, cozy cot, and fleece blanket.
