At Camp Bow Wow Benton-Bryant, safety isn’t a checkbox. It’s built into how we operate from the moment your dog arrives to the moment you pick them up. Every dog in our play yards has been screened, vaccinated, and matched to a group that fits their personality and play style.

The Camper Interview

Before any dog joins the play group, they complete a Camper Interview. Our Camp Counselors assess temperament, play style, and comfort in a group setting, then place each dog where they can thrive. After the interview, you’ll receive a brief report on how your dog adjusted, along with notes from the Counselors who spent time with them. That one step helps make open-play safe for every dog in the yard.

Certified Camp Counselors^®

Our Camp Counselors are extensively trained in dog behavior, pet CPR, and pet first aid. They’re in the play yards throughout the day, not watching from a distance. They recognize when a dog needs a break, when a play dynamic needs to shift, and when a pup just needs a quiet moment. Each dog also receives a snout-to-tail assessment at check-in so any concerns are caught before play begins.

Vaccination & Health Requirements

All Campers must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age, current on vaccinations (including Bordetella, Rabies, and DHPP), and pass a health screening before joining dog day care. These requirements help protect dogs in the group from contagious illnesses that spread quickly in shared play environments. Learn more about our Bordetella policy.

Our Live Camper Cams^SM let you check in on your dog from your phone or computer any time during Camp hours. No wondering, no worrying. And because we believe in transparent pricing, our dog day care is all-inclusive: supervision, care, and time with our Camp Counselors are covered in one flat rate with no hidden fees. Dogs staying overnight receive day care at no extra charge, and medication administration is included.
