Grooming Requirements
Owners of dogs coming in for grooming are responsible for providing proof of current vaccinations:
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella vaccinations. If the bordetella vaccination has never been given or has expired a waiting period is needed so dogs can build immunity before coming to Camp. The waiting periods are:
one-week period after receiving the injectable or oral vaccination
48-hours is required after receiving the intranasal vaccination

Full Service Grooming includes professional trim after bath, brush, blow dry, nails & ears.
Double and triple coated dogs take a LOT more time to groom. Charges for breeds and mixes of breeds listed below are as follows.
Poodle, All poodle mixes (Doodle), Husky, Malamute, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dog, Collie,Newfoundland, Eskimo, Akita, Leonberger, Samoyed and Old English Sheepdog: added 10%
Reservations are required for full groom.
If dematting takes longer than 10 minutes, additional charges will apply. Our dematting charges are $10/10-minutes if a dog is moderately matted.
If a dog is heavily matted, he/she may need to be shaved because removing mats can be very uncomfortable for your pup. We want grooming to be a pleasurable experience for your pup and their comfort is important to all of us. Owners will be given an estimate prior to starting if extra time is needed or shaving is recommended.

An exit bath is a bath scheduled at the end of your dog’s boarding or daycare stay so they go home clean and fresh after all their Camp adventures. We time it close to pick-up so your pup is dry, brushed, and ready for snuggles when you arrive. Just ask to add an exit bath when you book your Camper’s stay.
Most dogs benefit from a nail trim every 3–6 weeks, but it depends on how fast their nails grow and how much they naturally wear them down. If you can hear your pup’s nails clicking on the floor, it’s usually time for a trim. Our groomers can recommend a schedule that keeps your Camper’s paws healthy and comfortable.
Both nail grinding and clipping can be safe and effective when done properly. Clipping quickly shortens the nail, while grinding can smooth and round the edges, which some pups and pet parents prefer. Our team can talk through the options and help you choose what’s best for your dog’s comfort and nail health.
A typical dog bath service includes a gentle shampoo, a thorough rinse, towel and/or blow dry, and a brush-out suited to your pup’s coat. Some Camps may also offer add-ons like nail trims, ear cleaning, or de-shedding treatments. We’ll always let you know exactly what’s included so your pup gets the most out of their bath time.
Many pet parents love adding a bath at the end of a boarding stay or a big day of play so their pup comes home clean, soft, and cuddle-ready. After all that fun in the play yards, a fresh bath can be a nice finishing touch. Let us know at booking if you’d like to schedule a bath so we can plan your Camper’s “spa time” before pick-up.
