All-Inclusive Overnight Dog Boarding in Larimer County
Leaving your dog behind is hard. What makes it easier is knowing they’re not sitting in a kennel run waiting for you to come back. At Camp Bow Wow, boarding dogs spend their days running and playing in our indoor and outdoor play yards, then settle into their own private Cabin each night. That’s the Camp experience: a full day of open play followed by a cozy, quiet night of rest.
We serve pet parents throughout Larimer County, including communities in and around Loveland and Windsor. Whether you’re planning a weekend trip or a longer vacation, your dog has a place here.

Why Larimer County Pet Parents Choose Us
Our Certified Camp Counselors are trained in dog behavior, CPR, and pet first aid, so your dog is in experienced hands from check-in to checkout. Play yards are divided by size and temperament, keeping interactions safe and positive throughout the day. Our Live Camper Cams let you check in on your pup in real time from your phone or computer during their stay.
Pricing at Camp Bow Wow is all-inclusive. The Cabin, daycare play during the boarding stay, and medication administration are all covered in the boarding rate. No add-on fees, no surprises.
Every dog must pass a Camper Interview before their first stay, be spayed or neutered, and be current on required vaccinations. That screening process helps protect every Camper in our care and helps keep the play environment safe for all.
What’s Included in a Boarding Stay
Your dog’s Cabin comes with a cozy cot, a fleece blanket, and a nightly treat, all at no extra cost. During the day, boarding dogs participate in the full dog daycare play experience alongside our regular Campers. It’s a genuine home-away-from-home, not just a place to sleep.
If your dog could use a bath or a training session while they’re here, we offer grooming and training services that can be added to any boarding stay. For longer trips, extended dog boarding is available, and many stays of 10 nights or more may qualify for a discount. Contact us directly to discuss what works for your schedule.
All-Inclusive Boarding Pricing: What’s Covered
Dog boarding pricing can get confusing fast. Many facilities charge separately for daytime play, medication, and bedding. At Camp Bow Wow, those aren’t add-ons. The boarding rate includes full-day daycare play in the play yards, medication administration if your dog needs it, and your dog’s private Cabin, complete with a cozy cot, fleece blanket, and nightly treat. One rate, no hidden fees.
The Boarding Pre-Check-In Form & Reservation Process
Before every boarding visit, you’ll need to complete the Boarding Pre-Check-In Form in full and bring it to check-in. The form captures your dog’s updated care instructions and your estimated pick-up time on checkout day. Completing it in advance helps keep check-in smooth for everyone.
To confirm a reservation, a credit card must be on file, and a 50% deposit of the full reservation amount is collected at the time of booking.
Checkout Time & the Stay-and-Play Option
Standard checkout is at 11:00 am. If you need to pick up your dog later in the day, you can upgrade their stay for an additional fee so they can enjoy a full additional day of play in the yards rather than waiting in their Cabin. Checkout times may vary on Sundays and holidays, so it’s worth confirming when you book.
Your Dog’s Private Cabin
Each boarding dog has their own private Cabin for overnight rest. Inside, you’ll find a cozy cot and a fleece blanket, plus a nightly treat waiting at bedtime. A consistent, quiet space to wind down after an active day can support better rest and can ease the transition to sleeping somewhere new. The Cabin is included in the standard boarding rate at no added cost.
Medication Administration & Individual Care Needs
If your dog takes daily medication, there’s no extra charge for administration during their stay. Before arrival, you can discuss your dog’s specific care requirements with our team so nothing gets missed. Our Certified Camp Counselors are trained to handle dogs with individual needs and can follow your instructions throughout the stay.
Preparing Your Dog for Their First Boarding Stay
A few things can make the transition to Camp easier. Make sure your dog’s DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations are current before booking, and complete the Boarding Pre-Check-In Form before you arrive. Bringing a familiar item from home, like a blanket or a favorite toy, can help your dog settle in more quickly.
Keeping your dog on their regular diet during the stay also helps. Changes in food combined with the excitement of a new environment can upset digestion, so we encourage pet parents to bring their dog’s usual food. If this is your dog’s first visit, a meet-and-greet at the facility before the boarding stay can help them get comfortable with the space and our team before the overnight.
All Breeds Welcome: The Camper Interview Process
We welcome all dog breeds. What matters most is temperament and compatibility with our open-play environment, which is exactly what the Camper Interview is designed to assess. Dogs with specific behavioral or health requirements receive individualized attention, and our team has experience managing a wide range of breeds in a group setting.
Open-Play Boarding vs. Traditional Kennel Boarding
Traditional kennel boarding typically keeps dogs in individual runs for most of the day, with short supervised outings and limited group interaction. The structure at Camp Bow Wow works differently. Boarding dogs spend the full day in our indoor and outdoor play yards alongside other Campers, grouped by size and temperament under direct supervision from Certified Camp Counselors. Daycare play during the boarding stay isn’t a separate charge. It’s built into the rate, so your dog is active and engaged throughout the day rather than waiting out the hours until you return.
Socialization & Well-Being in the Play Yards
Physical activity and peer interaction together make for a well-balanced boarding stay. Dogs that move, play, and engage with other Campers throughout the day may arrive home settled rather than restless. Play groups are matched by size and temperament, keeping interactions constructive. Exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization support overall canine well-being in ways that isolated confinement simply doesn’t.
Vaccination Requirements for Boarding at Camp Bow Wow
Before a dog can board with us, three vaccines are required: DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Bordetella, commonly called kennel cough, is among the most easily transmitted conditions in any group environment and is a standard requirement across professional facilities. Leptospirosis vaccination is recommended but not required. All Campers must also be spayed or neutered and must have passed the Camper Interview before their first overnight stay.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
