Overnight Boarding Experience
Pet parents often tell us that seeing a clear picture of their dog’s stay helps them relax. Our overnight dog boarding is built around a simple idea, which is that dogs play more, rest better, and feel calmer when they are treated like family. We structure each day so pups get plenty of fun, plus the downtime they need.
Most boarding stays start with a morning or early afternoon drop-off. After check-in, your dog joins compatible play groups based on size and personality. During the day, dogs romp with friends in our indoor and outdoor yards, supervised by our Camp Counselors who keep an eye on body language, energy levels, and group dynamics.
Meals are served according to your instructions, so your dog can stay on a familiar feeding schedule. We follow your guidelines about food, special portions, or other directions you share at booking. Between play sessions, we build in rest times so pups can recharge before heading back out to the yards.
In the evening, the pace naturally slows. Pups finish their last play sessions, enjoy dinner, and start to wind down. When it is time for bed, we guide them to their cozy cabins. Each cabin is designed to give dogs their own comfortable space, with room to stretch out and relax without constant stimulation from the play yards.
Our team checks on dogs to see that they are settled and comfortable. We work to keep the overnight environment calm and predictable, since many pups sleep best when they know what to expect. By morning, most dogs are eager to head right back into play with their friends.
For families traveling through John Glenn Columbus International Airport or heading out for a long weekend, this structure means your furry friend can enjoy a fun, active boarding stay while you focus on your plans. When you return, you are likely to pick up a happy pup ready for snuggles and a good nap at home.
Safety, Screening, & Supervision
Feeling confident about safety is usually the deciding factor when choosing dog boarding in Dublin. We take that responsibility seriously and build safety into every step, from the first evaluation to daily play. Our Camper screening process helps us learn your dog’s personality before they join group play.
Before boarding, each new dog completes an introductory day at Camp. During this visit, our team reviews vaccination records, talks through your dog’s routine, and gradually introduces them to the play yards. We look at how they interact with other dogs, how they respond to staff, and which group setting seems most comfortable for them.
Once a dog becomes a Camper, our counselors continue to watch over it. They are trained to read canine body language, manage group energy, and gently redirect play when needed. Their role is to help keep the environment fun and safe, so dogs can enjoy social time without feeling overwhelmed.
Cleanliness also supports safety. We follow regular cleaning routines for cabins, common areas, and play yards. Floors and surfaces are cleaned on a set schedule, and we pay close attention to water bowls, bedding, and shared spaces so dogs can relax in a fresh, well-maintained environment.
Transparency is another key part of our safety approach. Our web cameras let you log in and see your dog in action during the day. Many families tell us that watching their pup happily playing or napping helps ease any worries while they are away from Dublin. If we notice anything concerning during a stay, we reach out so you are not left wondering.
Between Camper screening, attentive supervision, and ongoing facility monitoring, we strive to make our Camp a place where dog parents feel comfortable trusting us with their pups.
How Our Boarding Service Works
Clear steps make it easier to plan your dog’s stay. Our dog boarding service is designed to be straightforward, so you can focus on your trip instead of worrying about logistics. We guide you from the first phone call through pick-up day.
The first step is to schedule an interview at our location. During this visit, we review your dog’s vaccination records, learn about their daily routine, and talk through any special needs. We then introduce your dog to the play yards so we can see how they do in our open-play setting.
Once your pup is an approved Camper, you can book overnight stays. Boarding can often be reserved over the phone or online, and we recommend contacting us as early as you can for holidays or school breaks, since those dates can fill quickly. Our team can explain current availability when you call.
We know it helps to understand what is included. Our nightly boarding rate covers your dog’s cabin, supervised all-day play, and the daily routine we have described. Basic care, like serving your food according to your instructions, is included in the stay. If you request optional services, such as training sessions or grooming, we review those costs with you in advance.
At drop-off, we confirm feeding directions, medications you provide, and any other details that help your pup feel at home. When you return, we share how your dog did during their stay and anything we noticed about new friends, favorite games, or routines they enjoyed at Camp.
Our goal is to make boarding near Dublin feel manageable and predictable for you, from the first visit through every return trip to our location.

Camp Bow Wow requires all boarding dogs to be up to date on their DHPP vaccine to keep them healthy and able to play safely with other dogs. It’s recommended that the Leptospirosis vaccine also be included annually, as it’s more common, can be deadly to dogs, and can spread to humans.
The DHPP vaccine protects against four serious and highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. These illnesses can affect a dog’s respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems, and can spread quickly between dogs, making vaccination important.
Puppies start the DHPP series at 6–8 weeks old, with two boosters given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third booster a year later. Adult dogs receive booster shots as recommended by their veterinarian, with the Distemper and Parvovirus portion typically given every 1–3 years.
In addition to the DHPP vaccine, the Rabies and Bordetella vaccines are also required for all boarding dogs at all our locations. For more information on our vaccine requirements for dog boarding, contact your local Camp Bow Wow.
